Hey, listen, I had a thought i wanted to share with you. Howz’bout, since you’ve freed-up the Patriot nameplate from that gawd-awful FWD platform, why not make a deal w/ Suzuki for a couple 15,000 of these Jimnys, slap a Patriot badge on ‘em, and have a hey-day?

I do not think a convertible will happen since even the previous gen convertible was built by Santana in Spain and when Suzuki had financial trouble they said the Santana built Jimny convertibles were Santana’s not Suzuki’s and would not cover warranties or recalls on them like a bunch of jerks.

The good news is Mazda sells a Jimny badges as a Mazda AZ-Offroad, maybe we can get Mazda to sell us, the U.S.A., some new Jimnys with the 1.5L Skyactiv-G engine?
